David Erskine is a regular at Oakland's Dimond district Peet's Coffee shop. The baristas know he always wants a mocha, and they happily prepare the top of the drink with an interesting artwork of chocolate syrup and swirled foam. Dave began taking photographs of coffee with his iPhone for fun and assembled the collection of photos into posters of 96 cups each, chronologically arranged. These became the Coffee Swirl posters of October 2010, February 2011, and October 2011. Posters copyrighted David Erskine 2011.
